According to French publication L’Equipe, Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta has agreed to join La Liga outfit Sevilla on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old Frenchman, who enjoyed a successful loan spell at Rayo Vallecano this term, is out of contract in the summer.

Paul Merson suggests Chelsea should sign Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke in the summer as a replacement for Loic Remy, who he believes isn't good enough to be at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “Benteke ticks all the boxes. That is the one position they definitely need, I don’t think Remy is that good. I think the way Benteke plays he could come in for Costa like-for-like."

Monaco hitman Radamel Falcao is prepared to accept a huge pay cut in order to secure a move to Chelsea, according to the Metro.

The Colombian, who failed during his loan spell at Manchester United last term, currently earns £265,000-a-week, but is willing to shave £100,000 off that to complete the deal.
