Some of the biggest names in football have agreed to take part in next month’s ‘Match for Children’ at Old Trafford.

Organised in aid of UNICEF, the charity game sees a Great Britain and Ireland team captained by David Beckham line out against Zinedine Zidane’s Rest of the World XI.

Former Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson returns to his old home to manage a side which will feature the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Jamie Carragher, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry and David Seaman.

And legendary Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti, formerly of AC Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid, takes charge of the opposition, whose squad includes ex-world stars such as Ronaldinho, Luis Figo, Cafu, Alessandro Nesta, Patrick Vieira and Patrick Kluivert.

With no Premier League matches taking place that weekend due to the Euro 2016 play-offs, the game has been scheduled for 14 November and kick-off is 3pm.
