Lampard to Man Utd? Sturridge to Liverpool FC? Di Maria to Chelsea FC?

- Manchester United failed with a bid to sign Frank Lampard from Chelsea prior to Paul Scholes coming out of retirement at the weekend, according to Goal.com.

- Liverpool and Manchester City have been put on alert after it emerged Chelsea are yet to enter contract talks with striker Daniel Sturridge, according to the Daily Mail.

- Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria, is a £35million target for a top Premier League club, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, as he continues to be linked with Chelsea.

- Liverpool are considering hijacking Arsenal's bid to sign Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou, according to Caughtoffside.com.

- Chelsea could still sign Hulk this month, according to his agent, but he has warned that the striker will not look to force a move from Porto.

- Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Bolton defender Gary Cahill this week despite late interest from Manchester United.

- Arsenal have been told they can sign Lyon defender Aly Cissokho for £8million, according to the Daily Mail.

- Chelsea are close to agreeing an £8million deal for Genk midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, according to the Daily Mail.

- Liverpool have launched a bid to sign Inter Milan striker Luc Castaignos on loan, according to The National.

- FC Koln striker Lukas Podolski, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, is also believed to be on AC Milan's radar, with his agent refusing to rule out a move to Italy.
