Man Utd make 'very important' €35m bid for Lucas Moura claim Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo claim to have rejected a €35million offer from Manchester United for Lucas Moura.
Brazilian footballers Neymar (R) and Lucas Moura
Moura is one of a number of players on United's radar, and last week Old Trafford officials flew out to Brazil try and complete a deal for the 19-year-old.
Reports in South America earlier this week had suggested the Red Devils had tabled a bid in excess of €30m, and according to Sao Paulo director Marco Aurelio Cunha, United's offer is worth €35m (£27million).
"Manchester United made a very important offer of €35million but they would need to produce a little more," Cunha was quoted as saying by TMW.
"For us there is only Neymar worth more, after him is Lucas and we would not want to sell for less than this sort of value.
"For us it is still better to have a good player than lots of money in the bank."
Santos striker Neymar is valued by his club at £40million.
Moura's father is believed to have held talks with United officials in the last few days.
Lucas, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Inter Milan, is currently in England with the Brazil squad preparing for the London 2012 Olympics.
