Chelsea, Arsenal and City on alert with PSG'S Edinson Cavani contemplating summer move

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are on standby with PSG striker Edinson Cavani contemplating his future in the French capital.

All is not well for Edinson Cavani in Paris
Reports in France suggest that Cavani may not be entirely happy with his decision to move to Paris from Napoli over the summer and could already be looking to move at the end of the season.

According to Le10Sport, Cavani is not happy about playing second-fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Parc des Princes and may be ready to ask his advisors to discretely investigate a move away.

Cavani signed a five-year contract with PSG following his £50m transfer in July putting an end to speculation that the Uruguay international could move to England.
Manchester City reportedly made a £29m offer for Cavani in the last transfer window, while Chelsea were also heavily linked with a move for the 26-year old.

Latest reports suggest that despite both clubs investing heavily in other striking options over the summer, both retain an interest in Cavani.
However, it is thought that Arsenal would also welcome an opportunity to bring Cavani to the Premier League having broken with their thrifty transfer habits to sign Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all also thought to be monitoring the situation in case Cavani unexpectedly comes back onto the market.
