Manchester United to rival Liverpool for 'new Messi' Ryan Gauld

MANCHESTER UNITED have joined the race to sign Scotland's next big talent- Dundee United's Ryan Gauld.

Manchester United are keeping a tab on Ryan Gauld
The 17-year-old has been dubbed the 'Baby Messi' for his quick turn of pace and his skill.
And Gauld has caught the eye of Europe's elite, such is his potential.
Reports indicate Liverpool and Real Madrid are in the hunt for his signature and they are monitoring his progress.
It is also thought that United have shown their interest by dispatching Jimmy Lumsden to run the rule over Gauld.
Gauld made his Scotland Under 21 debut against Georgia on Thursday.
