Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea, in a move that would see the pair reunited following their success at Real Madrid.
Higuain was instrumental in Madrid's La Liga triumph in the 2011-12 campaign, combining with Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo as the three scored over 100 goals.

Higuain moved to Napoli during the summer after Arsenal failed in their efforts to sign the Argentina international, but according to the Sun, Mourinho is eyeing his former striker.

Napoli are reportedly willing to sell Higuain, and Chelsea could pay up to £48 million for the player who enjoyed three years under Mourinho at Madrid.

Previously, Mourinho said he would not be in the hunt for a striker in January, saying he was happy with the current choice of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o. However,
with Chelsea struggling for goals in recent games, Mourinho appears to have had a change of heart.
