Carvalho to Man Utd? Balotelli to Arsenal FC? Mangala to Man City?

- Arsenal have held talks with Mario Balotelli's agent ahead of a summer bid for the AC Milan striker, according to the Daily Express.

- Manchester United scouts have watch Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho a staggering twelve times this season, according to talkSPORT.

- Man Utd manager David Moyes is poised to step up his bid to sign Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, according to the Daily Star.

- But Manchester City will return for Mangala in the summer and compete for his signature with United, according to The Guardian.

- Inter Milan will move for Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen if they miss out on Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic, according to the Daily Express.

- Swansea’s Ben Davies has emerged as a shock target for Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, according to Metro.

- Real Madrid's injured midfielder Sami Khedira is a transfer target for Chelsea as Jose Mourinho looks to further bolster his midfield, according to the Daily Express.

- Schalke have suggested that Arsenal's bid for Julian Draxler during the January transfer window wasn't high enough.

Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt told SPORT1 of an offer from Arsenal:  "It was a lot of money, but it wasn't enough for us."

When asked if Bayern Munich had made an offer, Heldt insisted: "No, definitely not."
