- Arsenal are planning to table a bid for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao at the end of the season, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

- Manchester United striker Robin van Persie could make a shock return to Arsenal in the summer, according to the Mail on Sunday.

- Julian Draxler has revealed Schalke blocked a January move to Arsenal.

"The fact is, [Schalke general manager] Horst Heldt had offers for me this winter," Draxler told Sky Germany.

"I’m happy about that. On the other hand, it shows the respect I enjoy at this club, even if Heldt refuses without me being asked."

- Bayern Munich will not sell Toni Kroos, who continues to be linked with Manchester United, before the midfielder's contract expires, the club's sporting director Matthias Sammer has insisted.

"We won't sell Toni before his contract ends," Sammer told Suddeutsche Zeitung.

"It counts what Uli Hoeness said: Bayern is a buyer, not a selling club.

"We all want him to extend with us, there is no doubt about that.

"It’s not an easy case. At the moment we can't say our chances are 80-20 or 70-30."

- Barcelona will go all out to land Manchester City playmaker David Silva to replace Xavi this summer, according to The People.

- Fulham are lining up Alan Curbishley as a shock replacement for Rene Meulensteen, according to The Sun.
