United have been strongly linked with a move for Kroos at the end of the season, amid talk he has grown frustrated with life in Germany.
And after weeks of staying silent, the 24-year-old has finally spoken to reveal he has rejected the chance to sign a new contract with Bayern.
‘A lot has been said about me and my future over the past few weeks,’ he told his Facebook fans.

‘I love Bayern and I don’t mind that I am a squad player at the moment. However, me and the club have not been able to agree a contract renewal – and we’ll now see what the future brings.’
Kroos’ current deal with Bayern runs until 2015, but the news is said to have sparked United’s interest, with David Moyes set to make an official bid for the player at the end of the current campaign.
Bayern are said to value the attacking midfielder at about £25 millions.
