Herrera and Shaw to Man Utd? Suarez to FC Barcelona? Di Maria to Arsenal FC?

- Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera.

- Manchester United have increased their bid for Luke Shaw, the England and Southampton left back, to a fee that could rise to £34 million, according to The Times.

- Angel Di Maria has admitted he is in the dark over his Real Madrid future.

- Arsenal and Manchester United are understood to be keeping a close eye on Di Maria's performances for Argentina at the World Cup, according to the Daily Express.

- Luis Suarez wants to play for Barcelona, according to the Liverpool striker's friend and former team-mate Gabri.

"He's a player that has always considered coming here one day, and if he did it would make me very happy," he told La Xarxa before allegations of biting were aimed at the Uruguay international on Tuesday night.

"I think Barca would be making a great signing. He would adapt very quickly because of his hunger and he would be a very good fit for the club. He also has his wife's family in Barcelona.

"He's mature as a footballer. He's a player with character and personality. If he were to come to Barcelona he would have what it takes to deal with the pressure of playing for a club like Barca."

- Oscar has confirmed he has had "contact" with Paris Saint-Germain - but insists he will remain at Chelsea next season.

- Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, who has been linked with Manchester United, insists he is not aware of any interest from Real Madrid.

"You never know what's going to happen in football," Cavani, who earlier this month refused to rule out a move away from PSG, was quoted as saying by Marca.

"You can be here one day and gone tomorrow.

"But I'm not aware of interest from Real Madrid."

- Stephane Mbia, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla from QPR, dreams of working under Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The Cameroon international told AS: "I have the utmost respect for Sevilla, but will be difficult for me to stay because I want to play at the highest level and try to win the Champions League.

"I do not know where I'll go, but I want to accomplish great things next season.

"My dream is be coached by Mourinho, because I think he's a great coach."

- Michu is on his way to West Ham in a shock £6million move from Swansea, according to The Sun.

- Manchester United winger Nani has emerged as a transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan, according to the Daily Star.

- Man Utd defender Alexander Buttner is set to sign for Dinamo Moscow.

- Sunderland want to sign Chelsea’s new £12million centre-half Kurt Zouma on loan for the season, according to the Daily Mail.
