Everton and Livepool chasing former Chelsea star and Arsenal target Salomon Kalou

According to reports in France, both Merseyside clubs are keen to land the former Chelsea striker this summer.
Both clubs are eager to sign a striker with Premier League experience this summer following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Luis Suarez, and have made Kalou one of their main transfer targets.
The Ivorian spent six years in the Premier League with Chelsea, but failed to establish himself as first team regular at Stamford Bridge and left the club in 2012.
During his six year spell at Stamford Bridge, the Ivory Coast international made 156 appearances and scored 36 goals for the Blues.

Kalou, 28, currently plays his football in France with Ligue 1 side Lille, but according to reports, is keen to move back to the Premier League this summer.
Since moving to France in 2012 Kalou has made 66 appearances and scored 30 goals for the Great Danes.
If Liverpool and Everton are to make a move for the Ivorian, they will face stiff competition from Arsenal, Roma and Galatasaray.
Reports in France claim that Roma and Galatsaray have have been in contact with Lille and and have offered him £75,000 a week.
Arsenal are also interested in Kalou, who they made a 11th hour bid for in the January transfer window, and are willing to pay £3m for the striker.
