Arsenal and Liverpool have both made approaches for Edinson Cavani in recent months, the striker’s agent has confirmed.
Cavani has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea both mentioned in connection with his signature.
However, according to the Uruguayan’s agent, it has been Arsenal and Liverpool who have shown the most concrete interest in the 27-year-old.
‘There has been much interest in the player during the last six months,’ Claudio Anelluci told El Telegrafo.
‘I can confirm that Cavani heard proposals from Liverpool and Arsenal.
‘[Cavani] Already said he would love to play in England, but has not yet made a final decision.
‘He is not interested in money and fame; just want to be happy playing football.’

Cavani last week stated he would be happy to remain with the French champions for the new season, while Liverpool have reportedly turned their interest to Monaco’s Radamel Falcao.
