- A deal for Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Manchester United next year "is in place", it has been claimed.

Newspaper reports this week have suggested United are looking to re-sign Ronaldo in 2015, and according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, the Premier League outfit have the finances in place to do a deal.

"He is unhappy and he’s said so – but then he corrected himself by saying ‘I didn’t mean what he said’. It was a bit confusing," Balague told Sky Sports.

"Anyway, you have to say he’s not happy that [Mesut] Ozil left and he didn’t like the fact that Xabi Alonso and [Angel] Di Maria left.

"He has this idea, I think, that at Real Madrid he is doing a job and he is working, but he enjoyed himself almost like a kid at Manchester United.

"He dreams of going back to Manchester United and Manchester United have got all the finances in place to get him.

"When will that be? It depends, of course, on a lot of things. It depends on Real Madrid and on Cristiano himself.

"I have a pretty good idea of when he wants to go. It won’t be this month or next month, but he wants to go back to Manchester United and everything is in place for him to return to Old Trafford."

- Chelsea want Jose Mourinho to stay for ten more years, according to The Sun.

- Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has claimed Manchester United are unable to afford any of his top players.

"[United] didn't have enough money," Guardiola told reporters.

"I saw they spent a lot of money. It’s good for my friend Louis. It’s part of the game.

"All of the clubs in the world want the players of another club. It depends on the player. If the player wants to play he will play. If he wants to stay he will stay."

- Adrien Rabiot, who has been linked with Arsenal as well as Roma, could be sold during in January, Paris Saint-Germain have admitted.

"If we sell Rabiot, it will be in January," PSG coach Laurent Blanc was quoted as saying by the Daily Express.

- Barcelona star Pedro has put Arsenal and Liverpool on red alert, according to Metro, after reports surfaced that the winger is ready to quit the club after growing concerned that he’ll be left as a back-up to Luis Suarez.

- Massimo Cellino is lining up Slovenian Darko Milanic to be the next Leeds United manager, according to The Sun.
