Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea lined up by Real Madrid for £25million swoop

The Spaniard has become one of the Premier League's top stoppers and Real are keen to bring him in as Iker Casillas' successor.

Homecoming: Could De Gea return to Spain?
Real Madrid are lining up a £25m move to make David De Gea their new long-term No1.
Spain keeper Iker Casillas is under mounting pressure and the Spanish giants want to bring in a successor - with De Gea in their sights.
The influential Spanish paper Marca is reporting Real Madrid will move for him as De Gea's contract at Manchester United expires in 2016.
De Gea, 23, was seen as a big gamble when he joined United but has been one of their most consistent and best performers.
United would be desperate to keep him but Real Madrid believe they may be able to lure him back to Spain next summer.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is still in the early stages of drawing up plans for next season. But it is revealing that De Gea's name is out there as it may be seen as a tactic to stop him signing a new deal.
