Varane to Man Utd? Arsenal FC new signings? Liverpool FC target on the move?

- Manchester United are considering a shock swoop for Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, according to the Daily Star.

- Man Utd are ready to make a move for Varane in the January transfer window, according to Metro.

- Liverpool will not be able to recall Divock Origi from his loan spell in January, Lille have insisted.

"There's no worries as far as Divock Origi is concerned," Lille coach Rene Girard said.

"He's with us, and he will be until the end of the season, as planned."

- Arsene Wenger is planning a major January transfer shake-up to save Arsenal’s season, according to the Daily Mirror.

- Wesley Sneijder's agent has opened the door to a move to Manchester United or Chelsea, according to the Daily Express.

- Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has revealed that he would like to manage Arsenal.

"I would have loved to have managed Arsenal, a club with a special charm," Mancini told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"But there is still time."

- Xherdan Shaqiri, who has been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, is likely to leave Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.

Honorary Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer has indicated that the club are likely to let the Swiss star leave when the transfer window reopens.

"Bayern have already sent out a signal and indicated to him that he can probably go in the winter break, when he wants," Beckenbauer was quoted as saying by

"I think it's a shame because he is a great talent."

- Tottenham have joined rivals Chelsea and Liverpool in the battle to sign Inter Milan starlet Mauro Icardi, according to the Daily Express.
