- Yohan Cabaye, who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United, is considering quitting Paris Saint-Germain, according to team-mate Javier Pastore.

"I don’t think that he wants to leave but it’s true that we have a lot of midfielders," Pastore was quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

"I hope he will make the best possible choice for him: either leave to get a game or stay here and earn his place."

- Arsenal are weighing up a move for Tottenham defender Vlad Chiriches in January, according to the Daily Express.

- Arsenal are considering a £20m move for German midfielder Christoph Kramer if they fail to land Sami Khedira from Real Madrid, according to the Daily Star.

- Steven Gerrard insists he has "nothing to say" on his contract situation with Liverpool Football Club - and admits he is undecided over his future.

"I'll decide when I'm ready," Gerrard told BT Sport.

"There's nothing to say on the contract at the moment.

"When there is - the fans have known me long enough - I'll come out and I'll say what I need to say."

- Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto after offering him a giant salary worth £125,000-a-week, according to Metro.

- Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is keen to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.

"I will speak to the board of the club, what we need and what we would like to do in January," Koeman said.

"It's the hardest league, because you can lose against everybody. You have to prepare for every game, and you can't play at 70 per cent.

"You have to be 100 per cent and you need everybody. Everybody needs to be fit, and we don't have the numbers and players that the big teams have, and that's difficult."

- Tottenham midfielder Paulinho is a target for Brazilian clubs Sao Paulo and Corinthians, according to the Daily Mirror.

- Roma are weighing up a January move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, according to the Daily Mail.

- Garry Monk has given little away about Swansea City's reported interest in Arsenal striker Joel Campbell.

"This is the start of who is going where with the window," he said.

"Of course we are looking at players but in terms of who we are looking at, until something concrete comes up, I will keep names to myself. The way I look at each window, I look at the squad, constantly looking at worse case scenario and to have as many options for each position.

"I'm trying to cover all angles if possible. It all depends on who is available, prices, and who wants to come. We need a couple in - hopefully they will be the right ones. It's key what type of player they are, what type of person they are. They are worth millions of pounds. There are no guarantees which makes it quite fascinating. All that matters to me is that they come here for the right reasons.

"Even the ones here already it’s about trying to push on. The way this club is, we need young, hungry, dynamic players. That’s what we’re looking for. It's either a yes or no on budget. I leave it up to the chairman to negotiate."
