- Petr Cech is open to a move to Arsenal or Liverpool, according to the Chelsea goalkeeper's agent - but a switch is unlikely to happen in the January transfer window.

Cech's agent, Viktor Kolar, told Czech newspaper Sport: "It’s unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title.

"I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it."

- Arsenal have also joined Manchester United in the race for Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels, according to the Daily Express.

- Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, who has been linked with several Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United, has been advised to sign for Real Madrid next year.

"I would recommend going to Madrid," former Bayern Munich and Real Madrid coach Jupp Heynckes told Sky 90.

"Bayern have four or five world class players up front. Where would Reus play?"

Heynckes added: "If he really has that [release] clause of €25m, all the big European teams should go for him."

- Arsenal are the bookmakers' favourites to sign Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

- The futures of five Manchester United youngsters who won promotion to the first team under Louis van Gaal this season are in doubt, with Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett, Jesse Lingard, Reece James and Andreas Pereira - who are all out of contract at the end of the season - yet to be offered new deals, according to The Times.

- Spartak Moscow have confirmed their interest in signing Chelsea forward Mohamed Salah.

"I want to sign both Salah and Fabian Frei (still at Basel)," said Spartak coach Murat Yakin.

"I know both players well.

"I know the economic situation in Russia is not the best, but the club can afford both players' wages.

"The club president promised a surprise in the upcoming transfer market; I spoke with him about both Salah and Frei and I hope it will happen, that would be my Christmas present.

"I'll do whatever it takes to get Salah in the team, even if I have to beg for it."

- West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that he wants to sign at least one top player during the January transfer window.

- Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson wants to make new signings during the January transfer window, but concedes it will be difficult to land his top transfer targets.
