Chelsea and Man United receive a huge BOOST in the hunt for Paul Pogba

CHELSEA and Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Paul Pogba with Juventus set to reject a bid from Man City for the midfielder.

Pogba, 21, is thought to be City's top target this summer with Yaya Toure expected to leave the Etihad.

But, according to reports in Italy, Juve will resist the temptation to cash in on their prize asset.

Pogba, who left Old Trafford in 2012 after growing frustrated at the lack of opportunities under Sir Alex Ferguson, has blossomed in Serie A.

He won the World Cup's young player of the tournament award and has shone again this term for the league leaders.

Chelsea and Manchester United have monitored his situation and will gain confidence from Juventus keeping him away from Man City.

Pogba signed a new contract earlier this season, extending his stay in Turin so it is likely he will stay put at least another season.
