- Real Madrid are ready to pounce as Raheem Sterling stalls on a contract extension at Liverpool, according to the Daily Star.

- Joe Hart has revealed that he wants to stay at Manchester City for as long as possible.

"As far as I am aware it is pretty much sorted," the England international goalkeeper said of talks over a new deal.

"I leave it to the legal side to sort but I am very happy at this club and hopefully in the near future I will be signing that contract.

Hart added: "How could I not be (happy)? I love this place and I love everything about Manchester City.

"I have been here for a long time. I feel like it is my club now and I want to be here as long as I can."

- Arsenal are ready to rival Manchester City and Chelsea in the race to bring Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba back to the Premier League, according to the Daily Express.

- Liverpool target Martin Montoya will tell Barcelona that he wants to leave the club, according to The Independent.

- West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce insists reported Arsenal and Liverpool target Winston Reid will cost £20million.

Reid is out of contract at the end of the season, when he could leave West Ham for free, but Allardyce insists the Hammers won't accept a cut-price offer for the 26-year-old in the January transfer window.

"He isn't going anywhere," he said.

"He is not going anywhere unless someone bids £20m or something like that. There is obviously not a lot I can do about that.

"If somebody flirts around with a measly offer because he is in the last year of his contract, we would make more money by keeping him and finishing where we are in the league than selling him and putting our good season in jeopardy. Because replacing him in January - replacing anybody in January - is a very difficult job indeed."

- Everton and Newcastle are locked in a three-horse race with Napoli for £5million Legia Warsaw star Ondrej Duda, according to The Sun.

- Manchester City have held talks with Estudiantes over a possible £8million deal for Argentina prospect Joaquin Correa, according to the Daily Mail.

- Fernando Torres is to be offered for free around Premier League clubs this January, according to the Daily Mirror.

- Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is determined to keep all of his players at St Mary's in the January transfer window.

"I am happy but you have to analyse that situation," Koeman said.

"It's about injured players and, if everybody's available, maybe we don't need somebody but we will lose two players in January to different tournaments - Mane to the African Cup and Yoshida to the Asia Cup.

"That's two players less and maybe for that we need more players but we have to talk about that inside and make decisions about that. I think we need one or two players."
