Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho are on a list of four players nominated for both of this season's PFA Player of the Year awards.

Spurs star Kane has had a superb breakthrough season, scoring 29 goals in all competitions so far for the north London club, while he has also recently made his full England debut.

Hazard has been impressive for Jose Mourinho's title contenders, while Coutinho has sparkled for Liverpool since Christmas, scoring six goals in all competitions.

As ever, there are six players nominated for the Senior and Young Player of the Year awards - but unusually four men make both shortlists.

Alongside Hazard, Coutinho and Kane on both lists is Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, while Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea striker Diego Costa complete the senior list.

Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling and Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois are nominated for the Young Player prize.

Hazard makes the senior shortlist for the third successive year, having previously lost out to Gareth Bale and Luis Suarez.

Spain international De Gea is aiming to become the first goalkeeper to win the award since Peter Shilton in 1977.
