A round-up of transfer rumours and speculation from around the web - with reports in Germany saying Dortmund coach Klopp would be open to a move to Liverpool

Reports in Germany today indicate the outgoing Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp would welcome a move to Anfield - that is, if Liverpool decide to change their manager.

Brendan Rodgers faces an uncertain future at Anfield, and he will face the annual end of season review with owners FSG this week. The club have backed the Northern Irishmanbut, should they choose to make a change, German newspaper Bild reckons Klopp is open to the move.

They report that Klopp has affection for the Liverpool support, which he saw first hand when his Dortmund side were beaten 4-0 last pre-season.

He also speaks English to a very high standard, and they say that Klopp has long fancied a move to the Premier League.

Finally, they reckon this summer of upheaval at Liverpool would make a move even more appealing for "Kloppo", it had been previously reporting that Klopp fancied taking a break from football for six months.

Elsewhere, it is reported by The Metro (yes, them) that Liverpool have been offered the chance to sign Porto hitman Jackson Martinez.

The only catch is that Brendan Rodgers would have to fork out £24.8m to bring the Colombian to Anfield.

It had been previously reported that the Reds wanted to bring in Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, but a knee injury ended any hopes of that transfer.

Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke, but Martinez, who has scored 92 goals in just 132 games since making the move to Portugal, might also appeal to the Reds' much-maligned transfer committee.

However one potential sticking point could be Martinez's age, with the forward turning 29 in October and FSG's preference for signing young players with resale value.

And finally, Real Madrid are the latest club to be linked with a move for Raheem Sterling.

The youngster's future is subject to much speculation after his agent, Aidy Ward, attempted to force a move to Anfield with a now infamous interview with the London Evening Standard.

Manchester City, Arsenal and even Manchester United have all been linked with Sterling, and Liverpool have already rejected a approach from Louis van Gaal's side.

However it is now reported by The Mirror that Real Madrid could join the bidding and would be prepared to pay up to £50m to secure the 20-year-old's signature.

With former Reds boss Rafa Benitez likely to take charge at the Bernebeu, speculation has increased about Sterling. Benitez brought the forward to Anfield from QPR when he was just 15 back in 2009.
