Manchester United are reportedly plotting to hijack Liverpool's move for James Milner |
Sterling's future at Anfield has become increasingly uncertain after the striker refused to sign a new deal.
Klopp has been linked with a deal to take the reigns at the club and according to The Sun, signing the German manager could keep Sterling at Liverpool.
Liverpool target Theo Walcott remains tight-lipped over his future at Arsenal.
The Gunners star celebrated their FA Cup win yesterday but has refused to comment on his contract situation at the Emirates.
"I am sure things will get resolved. I just want to enjoy today," he said.
"I have got England coming up and then we can think about that process, but it will take time, I am sure."
And the Sunday Mirror report that Manchester United could hijack Liverpool's move to sign James Milner.
City star Milner is out of contract at the Etihad this summer and Liverpool are keen to bring the England international to Anfield as Steven Gerrard's replacement.
However, United's transfer negotiator Ed Woodward has reportedly made enquiries with Milner's agents in recent days.
